A Flip-Reset is when all four wheels hit the ball, you reset your flip. Usually when you jump in the air, there is a 1.5 second timer until you lose your flip. When you land on the ball and fall off of it you do not have the timer because you didn't jump to start the timer. That means that you can keep a flip stored and flip into the ball when needed. This allows for unpredictability and confuses opponents.
1. When rolling the ball up the wall try to match the speed up the wall. You should also try to pop the ball with the front of your car. The setup is very similar to the Air-Dribble.
2. You should either create some distance between you and the ball when rolling it up the wall or if you are very close to the ball you can tap brake to create some distance.
3. Because you popped the ball with the front of your car, if you jump your car should already be pointed towards the ball.
4. When making contact with the ball you should try to reset your flip at the peak of the balls arc in the air. This allows for longer time in the air.
5. When attempting to get the reset, aim for the center of the ball. When you land your wheels, your car should be at a 45 degree angle to the ball. Not right below or to the side of the ball. A good tip is to let go of boost and drive. This can effect your positioning in relation to the ball.
